What I love about homeschooling

I love being with my girls plain and simple! I love hearing their thoughts and witnessing their "AHA!" moments and knowing I was a part of it.

Being able to control their exposure to inappropriate influences. Children need to be given the opportunity to stay children and not be pushed into an adult world long before they're ready. Click HERE to read more.

Landscaping with oil pastels


I've decided to start each morning we are home with an art project.




It's a gentle way to ease two sleepyheads into school. Here's Fluffy Puppies artwork

To create this project, start with a black piece of construction paper. In pencil, create a landscape. Then take glue and trace your pencil lines. When that dries, color it in with oil pastels. Beautiful!
